Music in the Schools Foundation

The Music in the Schools Foundation is an outreach program created by the Palo Alto Branch in 1995. It is dedicated to making music education classes available to elementary school children who would otherwise have little opportunity to learn about the art of music. It provides classroom music instruction in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park for over 1300 students in pre-school through fifth grades. The Palo Alto Branch is recognized by MTAC for distinguished community service and outstanding dedication.
